A manual post driver is a heavy steel tube, closed on one end and open on the other, with handles welded to the sides. You lift it and slam it down over the top of a post to drive it into the ground.
Place the post upright in the ground where you want it.
Slide the driver (open end down) over the top of the post.
Lift and drop the driver repeatedly — the weight and impact drive the post down.
Check alignment periodically to keep the post straight.
Installing fence posts, signposts, mailbox posts, or garden stakes.
Useful for metal T-posts, wood stakes, or rebar.
